Physical education aims to provide an enjoyable, satisfying programme of structured activities with opportunities for students to develop physically, socially and emotionally. We offer a choice of games. Our PE programme covers games, gymnastics, dance, aerobics, athletics and outdoor pursuits. It develops confidence, tolerance and the appreciation of one's own and other's strengths and weakness and is considered as an important part of the learning process. This develops a healthy competitive spirit combined with sportsmen like qualities. We hope that children will develop, as a result of this programme, an appreciation of health and fitness for an active lifestyle. With themes, music, songs, partner/group work, age appropriate props and yoga games, children can experience yoga while learning, playing and laughing. Each class will combine yoga poses, breathing techniques and relaxation practice.
